BioBorn in 1984, Kara Spencer is the only daughter of retired police officer, Henry Spencer and the younger sister of Shawn Spencer. Kara doesn't talk about her mother often, as her parents separated when she was 8 and she, like her brother, was raised mostly by her father. She has no real emotional attachment to her mother and barely speaks to her -- accept on holidays when she feels guilted into it.
Like her brother, Kara has excellent powers of observation and deduction. Though her father was not exactly training her to follow in his footsteps (because what cop wants their baby girl in that sort of danger), he did want her to always be aware of her surroundings -- prepared for anything.
However, unlike her brother, Kara DID want to become a cop. An FBI agent, actually. Majoring in Abnormal Psychology with a minor in Criminology, Kara was prepared to put in her one to two years at the Santa Barbara Police Department before applying to Quantico.
Until Psych. Suddenly everyone wanted to know if she was psychic too. She spent half a year at the police academy before giving up -- no one was ever going to take her seriously.
But that leaves her with the question of what to do with her life. She is currently back at home with her dad, trying to figure that out.

russelldavis. It was her sophomore year of college and she called it off after only four months, never telling her father or Shawn about the relationship. Little did she know, Shawn knew and has known this entire time.
